Magazine Training

 

Today (9/14/22) was my first day of magazine training with my humans! 

Pixie was magazine trained in about 10 minutes of being in the operant box. My partner and I determined this by watching to see if she if she understood where the pellet dispenser was and that there was pellets being dispensed. We let her explore the box, while reinforcing her every few seconds. She did wander over to the opposite side of the box, but when she heard a pellet being dispensed she eventually would make her way over to get the pellet. After about 10 minutes, we could tell she knew where the delivery of the pellets was coming from. We started bar press training the next day...so stay tuned to see her progress that was made!
